Digitech Screamin Blues Overdrive And Distortion Pedal Digitech Guitar Distortion Effects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: The knobs are all there except for one, the mid knob. You can still tweak the low and high knobs so that you get al mid tone, but I wish there just was a mid. Quality: There is no flaw what so-ever. The paintjob is realy nice two, sparkling blue! Value: I bought my Screamer combined with a original Dunlop Crybaby (recommendation!) and spent a total of ???€???140,- (about $170,-), which is not a bad price! Desirability: The lay-out is magnificent, paintjob (as i said) really nice and the overall shape is not bad! Sound: The sound is pretty much what Ive been searching for the last 6 years. Obviously, the Gain knob changes the screamin of the overdrive. The sound of the gain fully opened is raw and, depending on the low and high settings, sharp or warm, and not the eardeafening grunt you get on, lets say the Digitech Death Metal. Ease of Use: This pedal is easy as in, even I know how it works! Support: I wouldnt know, for my pedal never lets me down! Overall: The only overdrive/destortion pedal I might consider in buying, apart from this one, is the Dunlop Fuzz-face. But thats just because of its amazing apeal to me as a Hendrix fan. One of the least useful featuresis the Quality: The BP50 is a very reliable and quality made product. There are no loose parts or defects. The product is compact and is made for use on the road. Value: I think this product is worth more than its retail value. Desirability: It is very appealing and the design is great. It looks really cool. Sound: The sound quality is very good and fully customizable. The only problem I have is the octavider and the harminizers can be out of tune. I think it sounds better in recording, because after you record it, you can add the finishing touches. Support: I cannot say anything about the service and support because Ive never had to call anybody. Its never needed service and has always worked well. Overall: Ill probably be satisfied with this product for a good 5 to 7 years. After a year or so Ill want to step up to a more expensive product that has more effects. It should include an adapter for the price because the battery does not last too long. Quality: Just by looking at it you know that the pedal is made to last. Its full metal and you dont have to worry about breaking it. You can try, but you will fail. Value: Its a good price compare to the others. Desirability: the pedal is appealing, so you just know you got to have one. Sound: It has a great sound, better than all the others. however, it only has three different type of sounds. But the sound is great. Support: This is the part that i didnt like. when i bought the product, it was suppose to have a serial number, but it didnt have one. i dont know if its because the store people took it out, or if it already didnt have one. Because of this, I wasnt able to register my pedal to get my 6 year warranty. (I doesnt matter, i dont think ill need the warranty anyway) Overall: Its worth the money. Youll have fun. Digitech Bass Synth Wah X-series Envelope Filter Pedal Digitech Bass Guitar Effects Bass Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: It has a solid seven-feature set of Envelope Filter, Sub Envelope, Synth 1, Synth 2, Filter 1, Filter 2, and Sub Octave. My personal favorites are the two Synth types. The only thing lacking is that it could use a more pure synthesizer mode. Quality: I personally like the green color, it is just showy enough for me. All the knobs are secure, but the pedal can get a little rattle to it. It also drains serious battery power, so dont forget to unplug it when you are done!!! Value: It is top notch value for only $80.00! If you are an intermediate player, this is worth the dough! Trust me. Desirability: I like the color, the setup and the traditional pedal style, though i do think it could be just a little bigger and flashier. Sound: It has a good sound to it, which is good because my bass is a little lacking in quality and my amp is par. Ease of Use: It is decently easy to use, just know where to insert the cables. Sound: Its A Digitech Pedal.. What more can I say I have about 5 Digitech pedals All are great But this is their most creative one yet its a awesome pedal. Envelope funk sounds great for funkish sounds. The Synth is amazing For trance and techno P.S Try with the Digitechs DigiDelay. Fm5 and 6 sounds great its filter with a sweep to get an auto Filter Sound! And Last but not least the Auto-wah same as pedals wah but you dont use your feet to trigger the pedal but rather your playing. Ease of Use: Great easy pedal to use. Its a Digitech! Support: havent gotten to call them but im sure they are realiable. Overall: I love this pedal and Would keep it forever. Wouldnt replace it but I do have another pedal that has sone of the same features. Its the Maxon AF-9 Auto filter and they are my favorite pedals. Quality: Looking at the unit I thought "You get what you pay for" but after owning it for over a year now I am amazed at the ruggedness and value. Value: Cant beat the value this thing offers. Desirability: It doesnt look like much, in fact it looks cheap. But if you want to look good, go buy yourself a guitar. If you want to sound good, you wont go wrong with one of these. Sound: This thing is great, and the price is incredible. It is extremely versatile, if you take the time to learn the deep editing features to create your own presets you can rock the house night after night - when Im getting dead spots I can easily add compression to whatever effect I am using and store it as a new preset - if Im not happy with the "house" sound I can use amp modelling to fatten things up. When the house sound man says "that bass was kickin!" youll see what I mean. Ease of Use: The manual is perfect. Easy to adjust to your taste. Support: The fact that it has worked perfectly under heavy abuse and never failed means I have never needed support, therefore top scores her too. Overall: A loop station is the only missing ingredient. I might upgrade to a different model just for that feature. Digitech Digidelay X-series Digital Delay Pedal Digitech Guitar Reverb And Delay Effects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: This thing is amazing. it has 3 different types of echos, the standard delay, a tape echo, and a chorus echo. with the chorus echo you can put the time to 0 and it acts as a chorus effect. it has reverse, which is great. and the best part is the 4 second looping function. its great if youre just playing by yourself. and you can layer the loop. you can put down a rhythm, then put in a bass line, then start soloing, and it sounds like you have an entire band minus a drummer. and I dont know if theres a limit to the layering, I havent found it. also, for metal leads, plug in a distortion pedal before the Digidelay pedal, and then use the mod delay and put the time to 0. it sounds so good. Quality: its made of metal. what more do you need? Value: for a $100 you get 3 kinds of echos, a chorus effect, reverse, and looping. incredible value. Desirability: its simple and looks good. the silver and black look good together. plus, I love the fact that its made of metal. Support: havent dealt with support. given how solidly built the thing is, doubt Ill ever need to. Overall: such an amazing pedal. especially if you play by yourself a lot. the looping is great. 4 seconds is a lot of time for a rhythm. This pedal will probably be a permanent addition to my stage setup. I highly doubt theres another pedal out there better than this. or if there is, it wont be for $100.
