Clavia Nord Electro Keyboard (61-key) Clavia Nord 61 key Synthesizers Keyboards and MIDI Feature: not to many sounds but the cuality of each sound is better than those keyboards with hundreds of not useful sounds. and with the effects a lot of posibilities with each sound. Value: if you compare hammonds or the korg cx3 they are more expensive and don????t have more sounds. Desirability: I have it Sound: I give the hammond a 10 because it????s very close to the real thing the leslie is excellent and the digital drawbars are easy to use. Th wurli has a great presence and love the distortion. the ep????s are nice and the clavinet is awesome especial for the lot of options it has. The acoustic is very good one ot the best on 5 octave keyboards especially on the low register. Clavia Nord Electro Keyboard (73-key) Clavia Nord 76 key Synthesizers Keyboards and MIDI Feature: Everything a gigging player needs is one push away, once you start using the preset feature. Quality: Some minor problems with sticky buttons on my new one, but no service tech required. Value: Expensive, and multitimbral would be nice, but hey, you get what you pay for. Desirability: Couldnt be without it.....will sell my Roland 88 note weighted piano before I would live without my red beast. Sound: Lots of people knock the acoustic piano sounds, but to my ears it is the least digital sounding piano sound out there. The action takes a little getting used to, and to that end maybe some players dont access the full range of the piano sample....completely awesome within a band context. Support: Ive e-mailed Sweden and received quick response.....havent really needed any support, though. Overall: Ive finally found a keyboard worthy of being classified as an "instrument". Clavia Nord C1 Dual Manual Combo Organ Clavia Nord Organs Keyboards and MIDI Quality: I use this in the studio and out live. Its built well, sounds incredible and is beautiful to look at. Value: Given the fact there are 3 organs in one, the pricing on the Nord C1 is fair. It is actually a bargain compared to buying 3 vintage organs. Economically, it is better to own one C1 than to own a B-3, Vox Continental and Farfisa. Desirability: The C1 LOOKS incredible and stands out in the line-up of other instruments. Ive had strangers ask me about the organ based on its cool looks. Sound: The Nord C1 is incredible. I use the C1 in a live setting; the B-3, Vox Continental and Farfisa organs are dead-on accurate. The large amounts of pre-sets give you such a variety of great organ settings and real classic sounds. Drawbars only give you more freedom for your own preference. Having the big 3 organs all in one at 33 pounds is just unexplainable. The sound of this organ literally will have your audience ask you about the instrument at the end of a performance! Solo or with a band, this organ is all you need! Ease of Use: Easy to use; pre-sets are already programmed and the drawbars are very easy. It was easier to familiarize myself with the LED lighted drawbars than I originally thought. Support: Easy to reach and professional! Overall: I will never give this piece up or sell it. Clavia Nord Stage 88 (88-key) Clavia Nord Digital Stage Pianos Keyboards and MIDI Quality: Seems as well built as Volvo (good sweedish quality)... I have to admit to being a little concerned about the beachwood cheeks... they might not be entirely gig-proof Value: Ok, its not a cheap instrument.. but its worth every penny.. and then some! Desirability: Drop dead gorgeous.. so long as you like red! Sound: Possibly the best sounding stage piano in the world... even the key release (dampers returning) has been sampled. Sounds totally like the real thing but costs a lot less and at just 41 lbs is way more portable. Ease of Use: Initial steep learning curve.. but pretty straight forward when you get the hang of it. Generally well thought out for performance use. Display could be a little clearer. Support: Excellent website, free OS and patch downloads and great tech support.
