Akg K55 Headphones Akg General Headphones Accessories Feature: It feels relatively comfortable. The design is similar to other AKG headphones (self-adjusting head band, one-sided cord, etc). Quality: Average quality made in Chian. I dont like the fact the ear pads are permanently glued to the headphone (but its not like I would want to get replacement pads anyway!) Desirability: I dont want it!! Actually at the first sign of intermediate connection problem at the jack (the scratch noise, off and on connection), I threw it away, even though the rest of the phones were fine. I have no regrets. Normally, I would just replace the phone jack with a new one. So I dont want it that much. Sound: In short, the K-55 sounds pretty bad. Quality: It will keep working, if you can stand to use it Value: Given how much I dislike this mic, it should be priced lower so as not to sucker anyone out of the good mics. Desirability: I never want to use one of these on any stage or any studio. Sound: Ive mixed tons of bands and used prettymuch all mics, only once have I gotten the desired sound, and that was on a particular bass cabinet. This is terrible for drums, no wonder I rarely see any professional touring act use them. Support: Had many problems with support (parent company) glad I have a network of my own.
