Feature:
I like the ability to switch between 2 channels and simultaneously use other pedals w/ each channel. I like the separate volume controls. Its a dream and Im getting one!
Quality:
Its Boss, built like a tank and built quality. What else can you say?
Value:
Its on sale now for around $80. Great deal. Im not real sure about other brands. Im a BOSS man mostly.
Desirability:
sex appeal? Get real! But I really do want it!
Sound:
I had a problem w/ my BD 2 amping up so much louder than my other pedals that my volume pedal was useless. I tried turning down volume on my GE 7 but that affected the tone. I tried out this unit, ran it thru A channel and my MM 4 looped thru B and everything else straight thru. The result is a balanced sound and I didnt lose that wonderful BD2 tone!!

Yes. I called Boss because of my volume problems. After talking to the tech he recommended this unit. Guess what? He was dead on RIGHT! I like that :D

I dont anticipate replacing it. If I did my wife would kill me LOL

It also offers two outputs (regular and bypass), various tunings (I just use chromatic), a strobe mode, changing root tone (I dont know why anyone would want to, but you CAN), etc etc... Its got a DC out, which is fine for a second pedal or two but which can introduce noise if you string the wrong pedals to it. For instance, if you put a Loop Station on this power supply, youll get some noise. Still thats a buttload of features for a tuner. 10. Quality: Its a Boss! Its bulletproof! Not much more to say... 10. Value: Well, this is a one-time purchase... but it costs $100, which seems a bit steep. I have not regretted it but I wish it was cheaper! Still, if I lost mine, Id buy another at the same price. Desirability: Just practical, not sexy. Its a tuner, dude. Sound: No loss of tone, so thats a 10. Ease of Use: One big-ass button! The mode, offset, etc are set-and-forget. You can use it right out of the box or read the manual (which is easy) and fiddle with the options. 10. Support: Never dealt with Boss. Quality: It is a boss, it will still be around long after im gone. Value: Wasnt very expensive at all. The technology isnt cutting edge but it doesnt need to be. This is a brilliant overdrive pedal. It lets you rock HUGE while given a lot of transparency so all the little details of your playing, what makes you, you, is still there. It isnt muddled up by the overdrive. Desirability: BUY IT! YOU WON"T REGRET IT. Sound: This is the best pedal you could ever own. It sounds so good! Put it into a high-powered amp and just let go!
