Zoom Hd8cd Multi-track Recording Studio
Zoom
Hard disk Multitrack Recorders
Recording
The Zoom HD8 gives you versatile, intuitive multi-track recording with a clear, intuitive interface. You can send your recorded WAV files to the included DAW software in your computer via its USB connection. Then, use the unit as a control surface to adjust, fade, pan and mix every aspect of your project. Recording, arranging, mixing and mastering has never been easier or more immediate.
Feature:
The included sampler, cd-r/rw, and drum machine are very convenient, especially for creating hiphop beats. Virtual tracks are great for multiple takes. There are more effects than anyone can use on this recorder, but having them included in the system eliminates the need to bulk up on my set-up.
Quality:
Overall sturdy build; knobs, faders, and buttons feel comfortable.
Value:
Considering all the features that the recorder includes, you get much more than what you pay for.
Desirability:
I was initially attracted to the retro studio look of this device; I was very happy to learn that the functionality of this recorder is just as good as its looks.
Sound:
Very clear and accurate reproduction (Compared to the Sony minidisc 4-track recroder that I used before).
Ease of Use:
It does take practice to get familiar with this recorder, but if you can get beyond the manual (which is not written as well as it could have been) the recording/editing/mixing process becomes efficient and speedy.
Support:
N/A
Overall:
With the amount of features and enormous memory, I plan to be using this device for a very long time. It has really provided me all that I need to create my smaller musical projects.

Zoom A2.1u Acoustic Guitar Multi-effects Pedal Zoom Acoustic Guitar Effects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Quality: Seems fine. Have not had it on the road yet. Its small, so it should fit in one of my cases ok. Value: Good God people. If you are playing acoustic, this box is amazing for the dough...even if you only use it as a DI! Sound: Im using this thing with a Blue Lion pickup and Baggs Para Acustic DI preamp, playing a custom made Cedar four string lap dulcimer. This setup is giving me sound opportunities I have been dreaming of for many years. I love the box but have a wish list, (I am basically a solo live artist): The ability to edit patches via USB, setting up a series of coordinated effects I can move through coordinated with live playing. The ability to edit drum sounds and to create pre programmed playback/backing tracks. Overall, I am totally happy! Now, if the pedal could only do something about the sorry state of the US Government..... Support: So far, so good. Listing Price :$314.99 Shipping fee :$0 Review this product |

Zoom G1x Guitar Multi-effects Pedal Zoom Guitar Multieffects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: Simple features although reading the manuel will help a lot. A simple plug in and play type of deal. A couple of foot switches, an expression pedal, digital display, and a couple of knobs. It can run batteries, but it also comes with an AC adapter. Quality: Its a plastic unit, but Im using it for home-playing and it should hold together. If youre careful with it as you would other gear, it should hold up pretty well. It seems sturdy. Value: The price is as good as it gets for someone just messing around with sounds. Desirability: Its just a practical addition to my setup...home gigging/experimenting! Sound: Pretty good, decent sounds come out of this. You can tell this pedal is rock influenced, but if dialed properly you can get other sounds for different genres. Plenty to experiment with! Ease of Use: With all the capable sounds and features, you MUST read the manuel or you will get confused. It comes with a chart to inform you of what effects youre using in conjunction with the display. You can then edit and save what you need. Support: Probably wouldnt need it...n/a! Overall: For what I do (hobbyist) this does the trick. Its a multi-fx pedal for those wanting to play around with many different sounds. This may also work for those into actual perfroming. Zoom G7.1ut Tube Guitar Multi-effects Pedal Zoom Guitar Multieffects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: Direct digital recording, using USB Quality: Strong metal case, but light for its dimension Value: Very good value for money Sound: There are two processing algorithms for the sound: studio for recording and live. Personally, I find the studio sound better, especially when using distorsion. I am a bit disappointed about the live sound, but probably this is due my amplificator (a small fender) which is not good for live concerts...So I always use the recording modus which sounds great! Ease of Use: Very easy to use, just plug and play... Listing Price :$494.99 Shipping fee :$0 Review this product |
