G2.1u: Taking multi-effects to the next level Conventional floor-type multi-effect processors are designed to sound good when they are plugged into a guitar amp. Modeling processors are designed for recording in line. Until now, there was no product that could handle both scenarios with equal finesse.
Feature:
You could not ask for more in a small box.
Quality:
Its build like a tank. Very solid.
Sound:
The sound seems to improve if I use a guitar that tends to feed back less. I get the best results with my Yamaha Silent Guitar. Using my Joe Pass Epiphone and Godin Nyon Multiac SA the dive tones all sounded like fuzzy mush. Another reviewer had a similar complaint. I was happy with the sound when I blew the Yamaha through it.
Ease of Use:
I give it a 9 but I would be willing to pay more for a better display. The codes are cryptic.
Support:
Nothing to report.

Zoom A2.1u Acoustic Guitar Multi-effects Pedal Zoom Acoustic Guitar Effects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Quality: Seems fine. Have not had it on the road yet. Its small, so it should fit in one of my cases ok. Value: Good God people. If you are playing acoustic, this box is amazing for the dough...even if you only use it as a DI! Sound: Im using this thing with a Blue Lion pickup and Baggs Para Acustic DI preamp, playing a custom made Cedar four string lap dulcimer. This setup is giving me sound opportunities I have been dreaming of for many years. I love the box but have a wish list, (I am basically a solo live artist): The ability to edit patches via USB, setting up a series of coordinated effects I can move through coordinated with live playing. The ability to edit drum sounds and to create pre programmed playback/backing tracks. Overall, I am totally happy! Now, if the pedal could only do something about the sorry state of the US Government..... Support: So far, so good. Listing Price :$314.99 Shipping fee :$0 Review this product |

Zoom G7.1ut Tube Guitar Multi-effects Pedal Zoom Guitar Multieffects Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: Direct digital recording, using USB Quality: Strong metal case, but light for its dimension Value: Very good value for money Sound: There are two processing algorithms for the sound: studio for recording and live. Personally, I find the studio sound better, especially when using distorsion. I am a bit disappointed about the live sound, but probably this is due my amplificator (a small fender) which is not good for live concerts...So I always use the recording modus which sounds great! Ease of Use: Very easy to use, just plug and play... Listing Price :$494.99 Shipping fee :$0 Review this product |
