How many sticks can you screw up in one day?, thats my question. I love the fact that u can take the covers off when theyre messed up. never replace the sticks.

i think they decay a little quicker but the tips never die ... just break.

i need them so bad even after my first pair

i have a paiste 1000 series, 20" ride that reacts really well to the tips i have on these sticks. These sticks havent caused me any problems, They sound exellent when u hit the cymbals too, And they even sound good on my drums

I usually chip up the top of the stick but these are VERY HARD TO GET CHIPPED. When they do get chipped for $3.00 you can get replacement covers. Truly awesome. Quality: When I bought it I thought I just wasted $30 on a drumstick that will fall apart. WRONG! This is a top-notch qualiy drumstick. Nothing falls off. Value: This stick is the best quality stick you can get for its price. normally I would be spending $10 a month on cracked sticks. In the end it pays off. I would pay $50 for this. Desirability: Nice desighn. Looks sleek. Has Tommys sig. on it. All black. Really nice. EyeCatching. Nylon tip. Sound: I love the sound. It makes the cymbals sound alot louder. The only problem I had is that it makes my snare sound weird. But I can live with that. Ease of Use: What can I say. It is a drumstick. It is a bit heavy but not bad. Also it is just a bit too long. But nothing seriously horrible. Overall: I have had this for almost a year and I didnt need to replace anything on it. Maybe in two years I will need to spend $3.00 on a replacment cover due to chipping from over 2 hours a day use playing to Motely Crue and guns n roses. Ahead 5b Limited Edition Chrome Drumsticks Ahead Drum Sticks Drums Feature: It is built like a rod of iron, giving it immeasurable duability, But it is quite expensive. You also have to keep buying shells for them though. Quality: The sticks are very comfortable and they dont make your hands sweaty like wood or wood dips. It takes a hell of a long time to damage them so they sound good AND so you dont have to buy new sticks, for a long peroid of time. Value: A bit top heavy with the price but it will be worth it, for you with not have to spend that much on sticks for a long time. Desirability: They look absolutely awesome and stylish plus they look cool flying through the air! Sound: The Ahead stick is kinda soft and hard at the same time. It make crashes crash and splashes splash. Its heavy, to give grunt behind the stroke, making you use your full body to get the stroke going, giving you wicked momentum. But they also have a lightness to them so they can easily be thrown about in your awesome fills and in your cymbal riding. AAAAANNNDDD, they look awesome as well.
