SansAmp TRI-A.C. is a 3-channel programmable stomp box with three independent footswitches. It combines the warmth of a 100% analog signal path with the convenience of digital programmability.
Feature:
The 9v bolt is easy to install and youll get a hundred hours out of it if you unplug when youre done playing.

Well built. Dependable.
Value:
Well worth the money. Add a power engine for under $399 and you are in business. To all tube snobs: I just dumped three 60s Fenders and I play, out, exclusively with this pedal and two power engines and the sound is excellent.
Sound:
This pedal is excellent when you play it through a Trademark 60 Power Engine, which has the type of full range speaker and flat response that brings out the full potential of the pedal. It is easy to use and when played through the right amp/speaker, it sounds very much like the amps it tries to emulate. You must get to know it though. Spend time messing with the knobs and you will get the sound you seek. Keith, Hendrix, Page, Santana, theyre all in there, but if youre looking for Tube Screamer simplicity/instant gratification, move on.

Tech 21 and their man Lloyd are very friendly and their communication is excellent.
Overall:
I will probably be satisfied with it unless Tech 21 makes something even better. Then Ill buy that.

It sounds very good with my POD. I doubt Ill ever need more than one. PLENTY of volume. I might get another if I want to go stereo, but Ill just run the line out to the board for now. Would like to have something like a "presence" knob to make the sound more crisp without messing with the low/mid/high knobs. But if you work at it you can get a very good tone. At first I was disappointed, but I found that cranking the level on the amp sends plenty of power to the speaker to get a good tone. Then, I just adjust the output level on the POD to the appropriate volume and it sounds great to me. Support: No need yet. Overall: Cant complain. In fact Im very happy with it. Quality: I saw the guy drop this in his rack case before the show, i dont know if it was the rack case or the actual item, but it still sounded amazing Value: If i had the money, id buy 7, one for each day of the week. Desirability: This thing is as beautiful as it sounds. Sound: The sound of this product, is by far the most amazing sound ive ever heard come out of an amp. Tech21 Sansamp Bass Driver Di Preamp Pedal Tech 21 Bass Guitar Direct Boxes Bass Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: the only thing i dont like about it is the power plug jack is too close to the 1/4" out jack. other than that its easy and strait forward to use to get phar tones a tube overdrive sounds Quality: very sturdy metal construction a stomp box you can actualy stomp on Value: a bit pricey Desirability: clean design, other musicians always notice it, powder black is always visualy pleasing Sound: the tone is awesome on this little beast, it truly is a pre-amp in a stomp box. Support: n/a never needed it Overall: If the price came down on the rack version i would consider replacing it.
