Quality: At this price, I figured the fit and finish would be cheap. Not at all--its built like a tank! Value: Durable design and incredible sound youd expect from Mackie at an affordable price. The packaging isnt as fancy as a Mackie product, the warranty isnt as good, and the unit is made in China. However, Im not seeing what other corners they cut. Desirability: Its a subwoofer... these arent exactly exciting. The bass is incredible though. Sound: Clean, tight, beautiful bass. Ease of Use: A snap to set up and use. Overall: The quality youd expect from Mackie at a price that mere mortals can afford. A perfect companion to my Mackie HR624s. Who could ask for more? Tapco By Mackie Ps8 Active Monitors (8 In.) Tapco By Mackie Active powered Studio Monitors Recording Feature: These bad boys are h-e-a-v-y which translates into the tight, powerful low end! There is a high frequency switch and low frequency switch for adjusting the high/low frequency response to match the room. My room is not the greatest but I didnt feel the need to make any adjustments. Quality: I hate to admit it seeing how these are manufactured in China for Mackie but the quality is quite good. They look as good as they sound and they sound great! Sound: Sound quality is excellent with very detailed highs, clean mids and tight bass.
