Quality: The product is well constructed and attractive in appearance. Value: The price on this amp is very reasonable considering its quality sound and appearance. Desirability: The Bass Intensifier and the configurations. Sound: The sound is excellent - growl, depth, bass, mids, and highs! Ease of Use: The variety of knobs for dialing in the sound you want is awesome! Support: No problems yet! Just bought it September 12, 2007. Played two weekend gigs and the rest of the band went nuts! Overall: All my other amps and cabinets are ampeg. I paired the SWR 400 with one of my ampeg 410 400 watt 4 ohm cabinets and the sound was great. I actually had more definition on my sound from this head. Quality: Very good quality. SWR makes great amps. Value: A little expensive but thats what you would expect for such a powerful amp and such a popular brand name. The price doesnt even matter... the amp is great Desirability: I have always liked the SWR logo. I like the red on the 900 amp. But this amp looks cool too. Theres a really cool blue light that comes on when you turn the amp on and when you activate the bass intensfier. Sound: The sound is very impressive. You can get a ton of bass out of this thing. You can shift the Aural tone knob and change your sound to match anything you like. The bass intensifier adds a whole lot more bass to that! Awesome sound!!! Overall: Awesome amp no doubt about it. I dont have much money and this amp hurt my wallet a little bit but other than that this amp kicks!!! Definately the best amp i have owned.
