A friend brought a pair of these to a drum session, we experiemented with the KSM141 and the Microtech Geffell M930 witch ended up not being able to handle the snare. Positioned the Ksm 141 aproximatly 10" from the kick, in hyper-cardiod pointing twards the beater. Excellent response with no eq.
