The AS100D has been specially designed for use with a variety of acoustic instruments, regardless of whether they have pickups built in or not. Between its 4 channels, this combo has the flexibility to handle instruments with piezo transducers or magnetic pickups, plus microphones, for both vocal and instrument reproduction.
Feature:
Crisp Clear vocals through the built in mic channel.
Quality:
Quality, fit and finish are great.
Desirability:
If Looks mean anything It has a very well designed layout, looks very profesional.
Sound:
The sound is pure and the cleanest of cleans. My Fender Custom Shop Showmaster Standard sounds absolutely awesome, and my Takamine EF400SC 12 string which is what I really bought the amp for sounds angelic, sounds like a beautiful piano on steroids.
Ease of Use:
Lots of features to learn to use properly but after owniong a AVT150H and a AVT275 was a breeze.
Support:
Havent needed them so an 8 to be safe.
Overall:
Ive owned to many amps to count in 30 yrs, Fenders, Crates, Peaveys, Marshalls, After the AS100D I wouldnt go back to any of them.

Marshall Avt50hx Guitar Amplifier Head (50 Watts) Marshall Guitar Amp Heads Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: Decent enough. Two footswitchable channels gives the minimum flexability required to work with the amp. The efects loop is solid and provides a good routing option. Also, It is nice to have a headphone feature on a 50w head. Quality: Typical marshall build. Particle board head and cab with standard black tolex. Ive never had to worry about getting to a gig and it not working. Verry solid, just seems a bit cheaply made. Value: I wish I had bought a tube combo. I was a little preocupied with, "I need a half stack." Desirability: Its a marshall, It looks cool. Sound: Better than a lot of cheap solid state amps, but lacks the warmth of real tubes. The single tube is only in the drive channel, so the clean channel sounds just like the MG series. Ease of Use: Its an amp. You turn it on, and turn it up. Support: N.A. Overall: Its an OK amp that will have to get me by until I can afford something better. It works OK live, but I never use it in the studio. Listing Price :$650 Shipping fee :$0 Review this product |
