A couple of years before Variax(R) was born, we decided to turn our attention from all that guitar gear to the guitar itself. We wondered?could it be possible to capture a complete range of this tone in one single instrument? It was a daunting task, but then so was the idea of squeezing a whole collection of amps and effects into one little kidney bean shaped metal box. So we figured, why not give it a go?

Sound:
the modeling sound is good no problem with sound but it hasent saved models right since ive owned it its been in the shop for a bad input jack and the models not saving last time for 4 wks and its broke again with the same thing wrong i contacted line 6 and told them about the problem and all they had to say is sorry your having trouble this co has very poor customer service

very easy to use but again not dependable
Support:
all they seem to care about is the on line community customer service is awful
Overall:
i would not recomend this guitar because of electronic problems and customer service

The controllable sounds of the variax 300 nylon are very true and real. I call it the instrument for todays musican - Professional and up and coming with requirements for simplicity, quality and control. Steer clear of the nay sayers. Im in my 50s.
