Both the CX-3 and BX-3 feature 2 sets of 9 drawbars that duplicate the sonic characteristics of the originals ? including the proper foldback settings and harmonic distortion. And you can easily select between the presets and these 2 sets of "live" drawbars while performing for that real organ-playing experience.
Feature:
Korg did their home work on this one. The drawbars, CV knob(yes a knob)! are all in the correct places. Even the leslie switch is in the right spot.
Quality:
Well the bottom of this product is made of particle board and only the end pieces are real wood. Korg should have used real wood ,, but then again, that would have made it heavier.
Value:
Priceless if you dont like hiring roadies to move your B-3.
Desirability:
Those waterfall keys are the best.
Sound:
I have played Hammond Clones from Roland, Hammond, Voce, and even Nord. I have many hours of experiance with each of these. I can attest that the Korg Cx-and Bx-3s are the best hammond clones on the market. They are both miles ahead of the New Hammond xk-3 as well. There is a fatness to the sound and the drawbars work exactly like a B3. The leslie sim is also better than any toher that Ive heard. I would reccmomend this product for anyone who is looking for that sound, but has thus far been unsuccessful.

Quality: Would rate it a ten if it wasnt for having to remove the meter from the clip when storing. Could be a problem if you are ham fisted. Ive had no trouble after one year. Value: Great features in a small easy to use package. Desirability: I love it. Looks cool too. May not matter if you look at it as just a tool (which it is). Sound: This device has no sound of its own. Ease of Use: Dead accurate and easy to use. Nice case, if a little cumbersome due to detaching the meter from the clip for storage. Have only used for guitar. Support: No problems yet. 1 year .use Overall: Bought for ease of use: senses vibration through the head stock so no cables. Korg Klcde Legacy Collection Digital Edition Software (macintosh And Windows) Korg Software Synthesizers And Samplers Computer Music Feature: Which it had a help tool bar. I dont like the USB Key Fog you have to insert to be able to run the program. I think that once you buy it, you should not need a USB key to be inserted for a program you paid for to run. Value: $140 Good Price. Sound: Matches my Roland JX-8Ps fat sounds (brass). Its bells are stronger (like a DX7/TX81Z) than my Yamaha SY22 and the vector sounds morph for a long time. Where the SY22 has sounds unlike any other instruments, the Wavestation had more choices and ultimately took the SYs to a different level. Ease of Use: Very easy. No latency on my IBOOK G4 1.2 GHZ, 1.25 GB RAM. Works well w/ Garageband. Overall: If someone steals it, I would buy it again. I hate the USB Key fog, though.
