Jbl Active powered Pa Subwoofers Live Sound/PA Quality: Ridget construction yet lighter then the 15" mackie sub Value: 20 dollars less then the 15" mackie, yet it has an 18" woofer Desirability: Very slick design, and the jbl/crown logo light up which looks great. Sound: Very crisp tight punchy bass. I just djed a party in a bar that fits about 300 people in it and the bass was felt in every corner. Excellent woofer for sound reenforcement. Ease of Use: Plug and play, the crown amp drives this woofer with ease. Overall: overall great sound, good price and built to last. im definetly buying another one. Jbl Jrx112m Monitor Cabinet (250 Watts 1x12 In.) Jbl Passive unpowered Stage Monitor Pa Speakers Live Sound/PA Feature: Rugged covering, handles are flush, easy to carry two at once. Quality: Ive been using them for over a year as keyboard monitors weekly at local blues jams, where stage volume levels get WAY too high. I often push them to what my Yamaha EMX5000 can bear, and theyve held up wonderfully. Sound: Clear, crisp, defined, flat, surprisingly good for a speaker with 99 dBSPL efficiency. Wide angle throw, suitable for monitors; less effective when used as mains unless the venue is pretty small (say, 100 people). Sound great as keyboard monitors, esp. for piano, which is very demanding, being very peaky. Also sound great playing CDs, thanks to full range, tight, clear sound. Powered speakers can sound better thanks to being biamped with ideally matched power amps, but at a steeper price.
