  The Any Spot (AS-1000) is the new wireless in ear monitor from Galaxy Audio. Galaxy Audio has been manufacturing the Hot Spot personal monitor for 30 years. The Any Spot is the latest monitor from the Monitor Guys. In-ear monitors are effective at eliminating stage noise, protecting users ears from damage, allowing the user to move around a stage or audience and continue to hear, and eliminate feedback.
  Quality:
  Belt clip on the bodypack is junk...you have to duct tape it to keep it from springing off, then it works fine.
  
  Value:
  Great value for the money, but NOT a high-end wireless, of course.
  
  Sound:
  It sounds OK...not as good as the Shure 400 series rigs we use as primaries, but we got this as a backup unit, anyway.
  
  Support:
  Helpful; I called once.
  
  Overall:
  The ear buds provided with the product are JUNK. Unusable. Distortion abounds. If you use decent earbuds with this unit (Shure E3 or better, I use E5s), then the transmitter/receiver is serviceable. We use it as a backup unit...I cannot stress enough that you have to budget for a pair of Shure E3s or a pair of Ultimate Ears at minimum; the earbuds provided with the product really are unusable.
