its so shiney and smooth! the black finish is nice and dark and the tuning heads are nice. the SG body is so awesome

this guitar has awesome sound. the pickups are realy realy nice especialy the bridge. sounds good for distortion

its really easy to slide and down the neck and glides like butter. the action is realy good too

Gibson Les Paul Bfg Electric Guitar (with Case) Gibson 6 string Electric Guitars Guitars, Amps, and Effects Sound: Look there is nothing wrong with the appearence of this guitar, I actually find it rather new and different than a boring old les paul. If the finish bothers you, use some fine grit sandpaper, and some good tung oil to smooth it out and condiiton the wood. Acutally the kill switch is a great idea, they probally did this because many musicians use the kill switch to add another dimesion when using there effects and lead work now. I find the guitar raw, powerful, and in your face, and probally youll see many of these popping up online for $800.00 which would be a steal compared to gibsons so called sg special which is bsically a cheap epiphone with decent pickups.
