British guitarist Mick Jones, who formed the rock band Foreigner, first broke into the music biz as a "hired gun" of sorts, appearing on recordings by George Harrison, Peter Frampton, Spooky Tooth, and the Leslie West Band. Foreigners self titled album in 1977 became an immediate hit going platinum five times over. The Gibson Custom Shop Mick Jones Les Paul Custom is a recreation of his original Les Paul Custom joining the line up of their "inspired by" series.

Gibson Les Paul Bfg Electric Guitar (with Case) Gibson 6 string Electric Guitars Guitars, Amps, and Effects Sound: Look there is nothing wrong with the appearence of this guitar, I actually find it rather new and different than a boring old les paul. If the finish bothers you, use some fine grit sandpaper, and some good tung oil to smooth it out and condiiton the wood. Acutally the kill switch is a great idea, they probally did this because many musicians use the kill switch to add another dimesion when using there effects and lead work now. I find the guitar raw, powerful, and in your face, and probally youll see many of these popping up online for $800.00 which would be a steal compared to gibsons so called sg special which is bsically a cheap epiphone with decent pickups.
