Same tuners as my dreadnaught Regent. Quality: Plenty of laquer, but all is well. No chips, dings, scratches, bubbles. Value: A nice little axe in a hard case. Fun to play and pleasant sounding. Desirability: This guitar will travel, be used for writing and practice, and go to informal performances. Sound: Very pleasing. Not twangy or uncontrolled, but mellow and in tune up and down the frets. Bass is a muted, but this may be characteristic of all smaller guitars. Ease of Use: This guitar can be played and played! Maybe the Elixir strings have something to do with it, but the action seems very good right out og the box. A quality control slip seems to indicate that the set up was checked at the factory, although the strings are shipped slack. Support: No experience. Overall: Should last for years and will be used a lot. I would replace if stolen, although I will be looking at higher end folk size instruments now that I have gotten this one. Alvarez Rd20sc Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-electric Guitar Alvarez 6 string Acoustic electric Guitars Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: Pick ups worked better than I hoped, tuners are solid Quality: I had a couple of minor scratches on the back so I was able to get a bit off the price, but other than that and some very minor fret buzzing....it is great looking from top to bottom. Value: PRice for performance, cant beat this one Desirability: Nothing fancy, just good at what it does. Sound: Thought I had made a good deal cost wise, but the more I played it the more I liked it especially compared to others in this range. Ease of Use: Throw it up on your leg and jam!
