Youll find the WT550 Traveler to be unsurpassed in the market for its compact size. The WT550 Traveler, is a hybrid tube design rated at 620 watts at 2 Ohms with a minimum of 3dB of headroom. Standard features include: low noise compact design, -12dB input pad, switchable automatic compression, five-way semi-parametric tone control, mono pre and stereo post tone control effects loops, stereo aux inputs, DI out with ground lift, headphone out, tuner out, and a thermostatically controlled fan.
Feature:
Adjustable DI out so the PA gets the same tone characteristics as your stage rig. Biult in compresssor. Parametric eq. Everything a bass player needs to to get the tone. Also tube drive.
Quality:
Biult tough but buy rack case. Why spend the money, love it and then drop it by accident.
Value:
Hi resale value. You get what you pay for. Blows away your Hartkes and GKs and has more tone possibilities than Ampeg. Better than Aguilar and SWR in my opinion. You can get snap and great tone from a 4x10 or 2x12 and then add a 1x15 or 1x18 (all Eden of course) to get a ballsy low end. The one amp you will not regret.
Desirability:
Old school boutique look without the boutique attitude.
Sound:
Its all about the tone. Very reliable, however, follow the instructions because this amp draws alot of power. Plug it into its own 15 amp circuit to get the full tone. Unbelievable tone.
Ease of Use:
The instructions and LED lights are very helpful in setting your amp levels.

Did not have to deal with support.

Quality: a friggin rock. solid all around. no doubt quality through and through. seriously, go and try one out. Value: expensive, but top notch. even with the large tag its a keeper, the sound quality and general badassness make it a value. its a great investment, i play the middle road on most stuff, but this thing has been more valueable than any "best bang for the buck" deal ive come across (even though this isnt a best bang for the buck kinda item) Desirability: its like owning a bently when you are in highschool. Sound: this thing sounds sweet, really crisp, super clear and deep, pops nice, jazzy, funky, even with craploads of effects, this thing will take it. great tone, but if you are sloppy, it will let you know - it has incredible response. huge sound for a 2x10, better than any 4x10 have messed around with. Overall: pricey, but totally worth it. if you are thinking about it, get it. i have no regrets with mine. (its heavy, but just small enough to fit through all the tight spots and tricky stairs, big enough sound that i dont need a stack, it seriously keeps up with much larger rigs and still cuts with thick sound. get one and then get another for a crazy 4x10 stack if you want to see how well your house is made.)
