Command|8 puts integrated, tactile manipulation of Pro Tools TDM or LE systems running on Windows XP or Mac OS X at your fingertips more affordably than ever before. While there are several compact control surface options from third-party manufacturers compatible with Pro Tools, only Command|8 was made by Digidesign and Focusrite specifically for Pro Tools.
Quality:
Works great - never had a single problem and its built like a tank. Hated the slippery and inaccurate factory fader caps, so I switched them all to nice P+Gs. Now its all good.

There are some shortcomings, like the fact that one cant dial in a send or a plug-in right from the console...only to modify but not initiate.....but for what it CAN do it is a great tool and useful interface for any Pro Tools mixing environment.

Dont ask them about PT certification though, they have no clue. Overall: If digi comes out with an even smaller option with 2 outputs for under $150 Ill sell this and go with that.
