The DB12 Active Direct Box includes all the features of the DB10 (1/4-inch input and parallel thru jacks, transformer isolation, balanced XLR output, ground lift switch, 3-position pad switch, premium chrome toggle switches, a gold-plated Neutrik XLR output jack), but in an active version. The aggressive styling of its solid, road-worthy, cast-metal chassis is a departure from the usual utilitarian look of most direct boxes.

On the otherhand the customer service reps can guide you through set up assuming you call them during normal bankers hours Quality: The DBX was double boxed from my local dealer and has a nice professional finish. I feel as long as I keep it secured in my rack I will have no issues with it on the road. Value: you do the math of buying all these seperate processors. Sure makes troble shooting easier?? Sound: Sound Characteristics from a DJs point of view....The best purchase I ever made for my DJ rig. Gets the correct sound out hides or destoys 60HZ hum with a vengence. I use Yorkville Amps and Yorkville Elite Series 2108 subs and 2152 tops. I can but have not bi-amped the 2152s. I have never pushed this system beyond normal volume levels for fear of instant death.
