FlexWave120 212 is the perfect stage amp for the pro or semi-pro gigging musician who needs driving power, multiple channels and built-in effects. Its FlexWave??? Evolution 5 preamp uses Crates patented Sequential Cascading Gain??? technology to pump 120-watts of fat, driving tone through two 12 in. speakers. Variable 3-channel operation allows you to switch among crystal clear clean, red hot overdrive and screaming high gain channels from the included remote footswitch. With DSP effects, Channel Tracking of effects settings, and Crates proprietary Shape Control circuit for creating wicked custom leads.
Feature:
Built in DSP effects that track and auto adjust when you switch settings. Simple 3 button foot pedal that switches in between the gains, cleans, and effects. Wheels for rolling the sucker, which isnt that heavy anyway. Built in tuner on the top.
Quality:
Looks really great and futuristic. Good quality.
Sound:
This amp can produce any sound you want really. I use the clean more, and its very clear and beautiful. The high gain is intense, and with the right noise supressor sounds really well too. Whenever I do use gain, I use the regular built in overdrive. It works like magic and sounds unblemished.
Ease of Use:
You plug it in, set up your sound, and play. The only kinda confusing part is the effects and working it out on the pedal.
Support:
Havent had to call. I didnt get a manual with it though, but they have that on their website.
Overall:
A damn good amp for the money. And loud enough for venues. I suggest buying it with a noise surpressor though, if you wish to turn it up past five.

Crate V100h V-series Tube Guitar Amplifier Head (100 Watts) Crate Guitar Amp Heads Guitars, Amps, and Effects Feature: A very well thought out head . Rubber underneath the head prevent sliding . The dials are very simple . Reverb is good . However, if you are planning on adding a pedal effects board think again . TECH SUPPORT WAS NOT HELPFUL HERE AND THE UNIT DOES NOT TAKE WELL TO PEDAL BOARDS Quality: Very well made . Value: Great value but you must be able to do without a pedal board . In light of the fact that you are then stuck with reverb only it is something to consider . Desirability: good looking product but you will need to stereo it . I use it with another Crate head that HAS ONBOARD EFFECTS with a Y connector box .I also use it with another V100H and the sound is quite wonderful . Sound: LOUD AND IN OVERDRIVE WILL BE HEARD ABOVE A DRUMMER . I have 2 and they are stereod . With this configuration your drummer will not outvolume you . Ease of Use: ADDING PEDAL BOARDS IS UNWELCOME BY THIS HEAD . Perhaps if tech support were more helpful it MIGHT work better . Support: I still have not been able to use a pedal effect with this board and i have been playing 50 years . Overall: This should do it but Crate MUST DO SOMETHING WITH INTEGRATING AN EFFECTS PEDAL .
